PRODUCT DESCRPTION

Activated carbon adsorption boxes are commonly used for gas adsorption, separation, and purification, solvent recovery, decolorization agents for sugar, oil, glycerol, and drugs, deodorizers for drinking water or refrigerators, filter agents for gas masks, and can also be used as catalysts or metal salt catalysts.

TECHNICAL PRINCIPLE

When exhaust gas is powered by a fan and enters the adsorption box, it enters the activated carbon adsorption layer. Due to the presence of unbalanced and unsaturated molecular gravity or chemical bonding forces on the adsorption surface of activated carbon, when the surface of the activated carbon adsorbent comes into contact with gas, it can attract gas molecules, causing them to concentrate and remain on the solid surface. This phenomenon is called adsorption. By utilizing the adsorption capacity of activated carbon adsorbent surface, the exhaust gas is brought into contact with the porous activated carbon adsorbent on the large surface. The pollutants in the exhaust gas are adsorbed on the surface of the activated carbon, separated from the gas mixture, and the purified gas is discharged at high altitude.

PROCESS FLOW


    • Activated carbon is a black powdery, granular, or pellet shaped amorphous carbon with porous properties. The main component is charcoal, which also contains small amounts of oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, nitrogen, and chlorine. It also has a fine structure like graphite, but with smaller grains and irregularly stacked layers. Has a large surface area (500-1000 ㎡/g). It has strong adsorption ability and can adsorb gases, liquids or colloidal solids on its surface. The adsorption of gas and liquid can be close to the quality of activated carbon itself.

    • Its adsorption effect is selective, and non-polar substances are easier to adsorb than polar substances. In the same series of substances, substances with higher boiling points are more easily adsorbed. The higher the pressure and temperature, the higher the concentration, and the greater the adsorption capacity. Conversely, reducing pressure and increasing temperature are beneficial for gas desorption.
