With the strengthening of environmental awareness, many heavily polluting enterprises are currently installing Tianhaoyang organic waste gas treatment equipment, such as printing, chemical, spraying, electronics and other industries. Organic waste gas is collected through the gas collection hood at the top of the equipment, transported through pipelines to the organic waste gas treatment equipment, and after a series of treatments, the waste gas meets the emission standards. So, what are the main methods for treating organic waste gas? Today, Tian Haoyang's editor will introduce to you the treatment methods for organic waste gas.
At present, the commonly used methods in the market include adsorption, absorption, catalytic combustion, plasma, biological treatment, etc. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are as follows:
Activated carbon adsorption method
Activated carbon adsorption method utilizes the principle of activated carbon absorption, which has no secondary pollution and low investment cost. It is more suitable for the treatment of organic waste gas with pollutant concentrations below 2000mg/m3. The adsorption effect in acidic environment is better than that in alkaline environment, and other temperatures are preferably at room temperature. If the exhaust gas temperature is too high, a gas cooling device can be installed to reduce the exhaust gas temperature and achieve excellent adsorption state of activated carbon. However, regular replacement of the adsorbent needs to be considered, as desorption may also cause secondary pollution.
Solvent absorption method
No secondary pollution, low investment cost, mainly used for the treatment of organic waste gas with low air volume.
Catalytic combustion method
Catalytic combustion method mainly utilizes the chemical principles of combustion to burn harmful substances in organic waste gas under certain conditions. Catalytic combustion generates secondary pollution, with relatively high investment and operating costs. It is generally suitable for the treatment of organic waste gases with pollutant concentrations between 2000 and 6000 mg/m3. If the exhaust gas temperature is greater than 180 ℃, the exhaust gas concentration can be lower than 2000 mg/m3.
Biological treatment method
Biological treatment technology has no secondary pollution, low investment cost, and is suitable for treating waste gases with small purification gas volume, high pollutant concentration, and low biological metabolism rate. Generally, the TOC (total organic carbon) in the waste gas should be below 1000mg/m3, the waste gas flow rate should be less than 50000mg/m3, and the waste gas temperature should be less than 40 ℃.
Plasma
Plasma is an aggregated substance. When the applied voltage reaches the discharge voltage of a gas, the gas is broken down to produce a mixture of electrons, various ion atoms, and free radicals. When the high-energy electrons it possesses collide with molecules in the flue gas, a series of elementary reactions occur, producing various active free radicals and ecological oxygen, namely atomic oxygen produced by ozone decomposition, and then generating inorganic oxides and water. It has a small volume, low energy consumption, stable operation, simple operation, and does not produce secondary pollution. The efficiency of organic waste gas treatment is generally 80%.
