1. Different technical principles

UV photolysis, also known as ultraviolet irradiation technology, uses the 185nm and 253.7nm spectra generated by ultraviolet lamps to irradiate the components of exhaust gas, decompose oxygen molecules in the exhaust gas to produce ozone, and use ozone to oxidize and decompose the exhaust gas. This technology is mainly used for sterilization, deodorization and other waste gas deodorization.

DDBD dual dielectric barrier discharge generates low-temperature plasma through a double-layer dielectric barrier layer for high voltage and high frequency electric fields, which directly acts on waste gas molecules. Through high-energy electrons and free radicals, a series of physical and chemical reactions such as bond breaking and oxidation of pollutant molecules are carried out, thereby achieving the effect of removing pollutants. This technology is mainly used for TVOC and odor gas treatment.

2. Different configurations of main equipment

The internal components of UV photolysis equipment mainly consist of UV lamps and power modules.

The DDBD device only consists of a plasma generating disk inside.

3. Different removal abilities

The ability of UV photolysis to produce ozone oxidation is 1.24eV, which can oxidize most of the waste gas components.

The oxidation ability of high energy electrons generated by DDBD can reach 11.7 eV, which can oxidize the majority of exhaust gas components. The generated ozone and free radicals only play a 1% role in the entire reaction process.

4. Different service life

5. Different security prevention and control measures for device applications

The UV photolysis host equipment has safety and explosion-proof measures.
