PRODUCT DESCRPTION

The biological filter deodorization device is an environmental protection equipment that uses biological fillers as carriers to allow microorganisms to form biofilms on the surface of biological fillers in suitable environments. The microorganisms in the biofilm use inorganic and organic substances in exhaust gas as carbon sources and energy sources to maintain their life activities by degrading odorous substances, and decomposing odorous substances into odorless substances such as carbon dioxide, water, minerals, etc., achieving the purpose of purifying odorous gases.

The principle of biological deodorization technology is to use the biodegradation effect of microorganisms to absorb and degrade odorous substances in order to achieve deodorization. Odor passes through a filter layer that is moist, porous, and filled with active microorganisms. By utilizing the adsorption, absorption, and degradation functions of microbial cells towards odorous substances, microorganisms have the characteristics of small cell size, large surface area, strong adsorption, and diverse metabolic types. After adsorption, odorous substances are decomposed into simple inorganic substances such as CO ₂, H ₂ O, H ₂ SO ₄, HNO Ⅲ, etc. The biological filter method has high deodorization efficiency and is suitable for the treatment of large volume and low concentration exhaust gases.

    • Odor gas collection device → pretreatment device → biological deodorization equipment → exhaust fan → standard emission

    • Process description

    • The odorous gas is collected through pipelines and enters the pre-treatment device. After being washed and humidified, the humidity of the exhaust gas reaches over 90%. The wet gas then enters the biological deodorization equipment. The airflow and circulating liquid complete three processes of biological gas-liquid diffusion, liquid-solid diffusion, and biological oxidation during the process of passing through the biological packing layer. The microorganisms in the biofilm on the surface of the biological packing take the odorous gas substances as nutrients, and the odorous substances and VOCs are oxidized and decomposed by the microorganisms. During the transformation process, energy is generated to provide energy for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, so that the transformation of odorous gas substances continues. The purified gas is discharged from the induced draft fan.

    • The circulating liquid contains detached biofilm and microorganisms, which are filtered and replenished with fresh washing solution before being recycled. The excess biofilm is removed by filtration and discharged regularly as sludge.
